I got my start in Physical Therapy working in a hospital in the therapies department, which I loved!  The work was so fascinating and challenging.  I worked with many types of patients- cardiac rehab, cancer patients, fresh amputees... but I have to say that my favorite patients to work with were neurorehab patients for brain injury and coma stim. So rewarding!  While working at the hospital, many of my athlete friends would ask me to work on them in the evenings after work for whatever pain or dysfunction they were experiencing.  It wasn't long at all before this evening work on friends started to take on a life of it's own, and soon it became clear to me that my path was leading me to a life of manual therapies. I had a passion for it, I was very good at it, and darn it, people liked me ;)  So was born ForMotion Manual Therapies and I left my job at the hospital.  Having already gotten my license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, I also got my education and licensure in massage therapy so I could expand and treat patients of all sorts and from all settings.

With more than 16 years of experience, I now work with chiropractors to treat their personal injury/auto accident patients, as well as post surgical, migraine, and degenerative joint disease.  I treat CrossFit athletes of all levels, from the local warriors to the CrossFit World Games athletes. I have the extreme pleasure of working with Enduro Racers (offroad motorcycle racing) from Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit. I've worked with Olympic Athletes, professional dancers, golfers, weekend warriors... I love all sorts of people, but most of all, I LOVE for people to feel good and be happy, no matter what it is they do or what kind of pain they are experiencing.

In addition to my life with FMMT, I am also a competitive CrossFit athlete at BackCountry CrossFit, a volunteer firefighter, an amateur enduro racer with RMEC, a professional dancer, a dog mom, a wife, and a friend to anyone who can put up with me. :)   I love the outdoors, I love all animals, and I'm learning to speak Spanish.
